Talent Acquisition Specialist
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for executing a high-quality, full-cycle recruitment process to support the organization’s staffing needs across both the United States and Mexico. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the company attracts, evaluates, and hires qualified talent in a timely and strategic manner. You will collaborate closely with the Director of Human Resources, leadership, hiring managers, and operational teams to maintain alignment throughout the recruitment process and ensure consistent progress on all open positions.
The ideal candidate is fully bilingual in English and Spanish and has demonstrated experience recruiting in both U.S. and Mexico labor markets, with a clear understanding of cultural, legal, and market differences.
Objectives of this role
Ensure open positions are filled efficiently and with high-quality candidates, balancing speed and quality of hire
Develop and maintain proactive talent pipelines to reduce time-to-fill for critical roles
Implement consistent and structured recruitment processes that support effective hiring decisions
Deliver a professional and timely candidate experience throughout all stages of the hiring process
Strengthen alignment and communication with hiring managers to ensure clear expectations and accountability
Utilize recruiting data and market insights to continuously improve hiring outcomes
Support workforce planning efforts by anticipating hiring needs across both U.S. and Mexico operations
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the full-cycle recruitment process, including requisition intake, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer, and onboarding support.
Partner with hiring managers to develop accurate job descriptions, candidate profiles, and hiring criteria.
Design and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract qualified candidates across multiple markets.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates for current and future hiring needs.
Coordinate and support structured interview processes to ensure consistency and quality of candidate evaluation.
Provide timely communication and feedback to candidates and hiring stakeholders.
Support the offer process, including compensation benchmarking, offer preparation, and negotiation.
Conduct market research to stay informed on industry trends, talent availability, and compensation benchmarks in both the U.S. and Mexico.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records within the applicant tracking system (ATS).
Track and report key recruitment metrics, including time-to-fill, source effectiveness, and candidate quality.
Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations in both countries.
Support onboarding coordination to facilitate a smooth transition for new hires.
Participate in recruiting events, networking initiatives, and employer branding activities.
Collaborate with the HR team on additional initiatives and administrative responsibilities as needed.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related tools.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience managing full-cycle recruitment processes
Demonstrated experience recruiting in both U.S. and Mexico markets required
Experience in construction, renovation, or related industries is preferred

Performance in this role will be evaluated based on the following key metrics. Targets may be adjusted as the function evolves:
On-Track Recruiting (OTR): Percentage of open roles progressing according to defined hiring timelines and milestones
Average Time-to-Fill: Number of days from job requisition approval to accepted offer
New Hire Retention: Percentage of new hires retained at 90 days and 6 months
Quality of Hire: Measured through hiring manager satisfaction and new hire performance within the first 90 days.
